Verily, we look but do we see,
Is it dusk or dawn in our dreams,
What course we chose to be free,
Is life as confusing as it seems?
Choice of melody daily drift by,
Moments floating past with time,
Foolish perhaps to reason why,
Should logic and emotion rhyme?
For which grail held high above,
What accolade at what price to pay,
Illusion of hope in vain of love,
Yet, here we wait night and day.
Alas repose in this chair of life,
Accept the fates' path to harmony.
Free our hearts of pain and strife,
Let us languish in refrain of destiny.
