"Tears In The Rain" by "Charles M. Misner"

Tears In The Rain

A lone man stands at the side of his life,

The rain that falls, blends the tears shed for love which

left him alone to suffer in strife

No one will know he is crying he hides it so well,

but every moment is worse than one second in hell.

He kneels as if pretending to tie a lace,

silently praying her fingers were touching his face.

He remebers her laughter, her smile 'n touch, the communion they

shared secure throughout the night, how everything harsh

of this world disappeared, as her arms

engulfed him in wonderous delight.

The tears are flowing, and he whispers with a shy.

Why have you left me alone in this life?

The reply received, was a question,

Why are you alone, the love you gave,

was it warm and right?

He answered, for me it was!
