~*~ I am born perfect without prejudice I open my eyes in wonder and learn to judge To judge myself most harshly of all The clouds of judgement narrow my view Blinded I collide with my prejudices Stumble and fall, Bleed and scar. ~*~ I open my eyes in wonder and learn not to judge Still judge myself most harshly of all Encounters force open the lids of Awareness In repeated instances of molten emotion And the dawning begins As these crystals of enlightenment Through their prisms undistort the truth. ~*~ Each day I am in awe Of the process of unravelment in which I engage I open my eyes in wonder and learn not to judge. ~*~ Trish O'Riley |
